Jericho--TV Show---WTSHTF

How close to the truth is this new TV show is going to be!!

It is already very close to the truth. Watch it--Wednesday nights!

I think the first few shows are a great depiction of what is to come--in real life. We all on this forum need to heed the shows ideas---we have talked about them for a long time in this forum. Now this show is going to show everyone else what is going to happen WTSHTF. We (on this open forum) are putting many of these things into motion before TSHTF. This show is putting a face on the preparations we are making. What can we expect---we in this forum already know what to expect and are making plans.

Good luck.

The show is crap-- it's "All My Children" meets "The Day After Tomorrow". But I guess it still beats out "Celebrity Fat Farm II" for your viewing enjoyment...

same with CSI. I was chatting with the sheriff a couple days ago about it. He said it's all Hollywood. You can't get a fingerprint off of most things like the TV sluthes do. Inside a latex glove? Pretty darn near impossible.

Keep in mind, it will NEVER be realistic. It's the only TV show that has EVER depicted that scenario, so it kinda has an edge.

It will always be "nicer" than reality.

They raised the question aobut running out of food this last week, then at the end a kid happens to find an abandoned train full of non perishable food. WOW, how lucky for Jericho!! Now, depending on how long the train is, they don't have to revisit the food issue for the rest of the first season.

It's the "only game in town" right now so it's got my attention. Unless it gets too sappy.

AND it was nuked with the fallout that 'was Denver'.....so I guess you could open a can of that Dinty Moore and not have to worry about refrigeration.

ahahahahaaaaaaa......we could write this crap, boys....they need us.

I especially loved the big town BBQ.....everybody sitting around like they hadn't a care ( or clue ) in the world.....I kept expecting somebody to break out with a chorus of "Kum-by-ya"....and they go off and leave the lanterns blazing away, like the next propane delivery will be tommorrow.....

ahahaaaaaaaaaaaa....

This thing is WAY past sappy, guys.......wonder what happens next week ?

There is a saying that goes "Always listen and read what anyone tells you or is in print because sooner or later you will find something new"

If you think that you found something new then find out if it is the truth or not...... just because they say that it is so it does not means that it is so.

I think the way the show is written will not lead anyone to prepare even a little bit. Hey if you're in a city that is hit you're toast so why prepare. If you survive you will just find a way to muddle through. Very unrealistic in my view.
Also I think the radiation problem would be worse than the show depicted.
Ground burst nuclear detonations throw alot of debris up in the air.
Air burst = maximum destruction minimum fallout.
Ground burst= minimum destruction (relatively speaking) maximum fallout.
The Show = good propaganda for nuking the Axis of Evil before they nuke U.S.? Or will the nuking of the Axis of evil cause the nuking of U.S.?
Or propaganda for throwing the Neo-cons out of office? Or..Or ..?
